You seem to forget that this is a hobby. OJW has a life outside of OSM,
despite being inflicted with OCOSMD. He has a right to that life, and it
would be a sad state of things, if he put a hobby before any other
commitments such as family time, work, and relaxation.

Neither OSM nor its subprojects such as Tiles at Home are to my knowledge
lifecritical systems that must be accessible 24/7/365, or the world as
we know will end...

As long as OJW has the inclination of donating his ressources, from what
probably already is a limited pool of spare time, I for one, am
gratefull for his dedication to the project. That goes for anyone who
uses brainpower, creativity, and last but not least, time in the OSM
project.

Yes I bitch too, when something goes wrong or is down. But after
informing the people who might be able to fix it, I go and do something
else untill the system is up again, if I am not able in helping to fix it.
Because I realize this is a hobby for all involved at the moment. Not
one person involved in the project are getting payed to do things
related to OSM.

If you are so unsatisfied with the state of OSM and/or T at H, there really
are only two options left for you :
A) Find a better solution, and use it instead.
B) Develop a better solution and present it. If it is better, people
will automatically transgress over to that.

But going to personal attack mode, and stating that your patience with
Oliver has ended, and that you find that the manner he has used his
sparetime is under all critique, is just plain low IMSHO.

'nuff said.
