I had the same this morning:

$ perl tilesGen.pl loop
[...snip...]
Updated to revision 9698.
[#0   0% ] tilesGen.pl has changed, re-start new version
[...snip...]
This is version 9696 (Rapperswil) of tilesgen running on linux, ID: 
951665086
progstart= does not match option=value at tilesGen.pl line 128.

PS: How often will the client check for updates? I stopfiled and 
restarted the client after I read the above mail, but it did not update 
during startup and stayed at revision 9698. A manual svn upd *did* 
update to 9708.
