[Tilesathome] Requests handed out multiple times

I've noticed too that tiles are handed out to multiple clients.
I was rendering a complex tile and was checking the tile info page too and I saw 
it being uploaded at least 3 times before I was finished.
And it didn't take me hours.

How long does it take for the T at H server to decide the tile is not coming back 
and gives it away to another client?
