I took the lowzoom script as base for lowzoom in the client. This does
some overlapping of the tiles which probably causes this fading effect.
Don't know what the server does, as I never had a look at its code.
Thought it should not affect names, as these are overlayed. Maybe also
different means of overlay handling are used in server and client.
