I just made a brand new checkout of tilesAtHome from SVN, made a copy of
authentication.conf, set my username and password, and ran tilesGen loop. I
get the following:

- Using working directory /home/iandees/osm/tah/tmp/
- Inkscape version 0.46
- rendering using Osmarender/XSLT
- xmlstarlet version 1.0.1
- zip is present
- going to use pngcrush
- Pngcrush version 1.6.4
sh: optipng: not found
- Uploading with username "I_forgot_to_edit_authentication.conf"
- Using http://tah.openstreetmap.org/Request/take/ for Requests

This is version 9025 (Quickborn) of tilesgen running on linux
