I am not sure this is a version error or some other bug somewhere
presumably on the client side. I had this problem my self at some point
a week or so ago. I had noticed that my client suddenly churned through
tiles far too fast and when I checked those on the server they were
indeed all completely blank where they shouldn't have been. A simple
restart of the client fixed it and since then I hope I haven't uploaded
any more broken tiles, but it looks like other people apart from beldin
are affected by this problem too.

In addition, there seems to be another problem with blank tiles. For
example around the Boston area, there are large areas of blank tiles.
These are all uploaded by "Nonexistent User ID 0". I suspect this is a
different problem, as it looks too widespread to be cause by an
individual uploader.
