[Tilesathome] Circumvent automatic svn checking

Grrmbl. Now the client is doing its automatic svn update and sees that I changed 
general.conf (for the borders). It will still render, but refuses to upload.
Is there an easy way (other than restoring general.conf) to circumvent this?

The only thing I can think of is download a new version of the client in a 
different directory and use that for uploading.

What I would really like is a setting in tilesAtHome.conf to govern this. Or is 
that a bad idea?
