I think a style change would not be enough for this. It is easy to have
a style rule which says: Render a dotted grey line for any segment. But
it is currently not possible with Osmarender to do this only for
segments without a way on top. In most cases it doesn't matter, because
the ways will later be drawn on top of the segments, so you don't see
the segments any more. But it breaks rendering of tunnels (which are
only in Osmarender4) and might break other thin or half-transparent
features. Event without wrong rendering it would mean you have lots of
unnecessary lines in your SVG (because they are not rendered anyway)
which will bloat the SVG file and slow down Inkscape. So I'll try to
implement this properly in Osmarender4.
