I think it was also using least CPU for compressing. - We have to create 
the planet file on our machines but anything after that is pretty much 
arbitrary, I belive any of the mirrors would be willing and able to 
re-pack a 7z file into bz2 or whatever. I suggest we use whatever puts 
the smallest strain on our server(s) and leave everything else up to the 
community.
