Dropped phones & PDAs definitely don't bounce, a GPS 60 does (resulting
in nothing more than a minor scuff)

But unfortunately they don't yet seem to offer a model fitted with a
little windscreen wiper, which would have been very handy last week.

This is extremely important so you don't end up with a unit which is
useless due to lack of battery availability. (Rechargeable batts don't
last forever).

As demonstrated at the leeds mapping party when one of the guys had his
bluetooth GPS disconnect from his phone, resulting in a fair amount of
missing track.
