[OSM-dev] Inefficient R-tree in PostGIS

Hi!

Paul Ramsey just mentioned [1] two interesting blog posts [2, 3] about
possible inefficiencies in the R-tree implemention of PostGIS. Could be a
reason why OSM rendering of tiles is slower that it should be.
