The speciality about the Ace is not just the resolution, it is the
Samsung-customized UI that changes a lot of things (e.g. white
background in the icon-based menu at the bottom).

Not the one I have here, it either came with 2.3.3 or automatically
OTA-updated to it, no hacking/custom rom necessary.
