[OSM-dev] Profiling the wiki

There are sometimes reports that the wiki takes a long time to respond. I am interested in finding out what is taking the time. In particular I would like to know if it is worthwhile to copy the Lua version of the {{LangSwitch}} template from Wikimedia Commons.
