Dear Sahithi,
thank you for your interest in contributing to OpenStreetMap!
Please understand that we do not generally match contributors to
projects, but rather leave leave it to the potential contributors to
pick a project to apply for based on their interests and skills. You'll
want to reach out to the mentors for that particular project idea and
follow the other steps outlined in our instructions:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2025#Participant_applications
While you do have the option to submit applications for more than one
project (up to the limit imposed by Google, which I believe is 3
projects), that would require you to go through the preparations – such
as making some contributions to the project – for each of them.
