[Gsoc-orga] GSoC Project Proposal: OpenStreetMap Community Chat Platform

Dear openstreetmap team,

I hope you're doing well. I am interested in applying for Google Summer of
Code and would like to propose a project idea that could benefit the
OpenStreetMap community.

My idea is to develop a dedicated chat platform for OSM users, with
separate sections for mappers, developers, and other contributors. This
would provide a structured space for discussions, real-time mapping
support, and collaboration on projects. Additionally, the platform could
integrate with existing OSM tools to enhance usability and engagement.

Before I move forward with my application, I wanted to check if this idea
aligns with OSM’s goals and whether it would be a valuable addition to the
community. I would greatly appreciate your feedback or any guidance on
refining the proposal.
