[OHM] changing times on the map

Hi there,
 I am very interested in seeing historical data on OSM, e.g. see my city
at the year 1980 or what will be it be in 2020. Or one other example
display where Captain Cook arrived in Australia.

I found this page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM-4D but it was
edited lastly 13. April 2012, so some time ago.

Anyone working on or even just thinking about time changing on the map?
