[HOT] HOT Humanitarian Mapping Party in Beg Meil (France, Britanny) the next 26/27-March

Hi there

Brief email to let you know that we will be running a Humanitarian Mapping
Party the next 26/27 March at Beg Meil in France (Brittany/Finistere) in a
research lab providing workspace and with cheap accommodation
(15E/night/pers in double room - breakfast included).

The aim will be to get acquainted with the feel of field emergency work
through remote and on the ground mapping ala HOT using the tools, procedures
built up during this last 1.5 years. We will also be covering non mapping
aspects of the field work which are essential to the success of a deploy.
Remote work will be focused on crisis where HOT is activated and
on-the-ground work will allow to enhance the map of Brittany in the areas
near by the centre.
These 2 days will be also be important from a social perspective with a
chance for some of us or to get together in this specific context

Great if you can let me know about interest & attendance and I'll revert to
you in the limits of what the research lab can accommodate
