[HOT] Status of the Humanitarian Data Model (HDM)?

Dear all,

I noticed that the page "Humanitarian OSM Tags/Humanitarian Data Model" 
has been moved  for history/archiving purposes by "worldwidewolfordand" 
and is regarded as being "old".

I wonder what is the source of further developoments in this data 
modeling approach.

I am aware of https://github.com/hotosm/presets/blob/master/HDM.xml. Is 
this the main source to consider now?

The rationale behind my question is that we plan to work on a GML based 
profile.
