Hi Frederik,
please allow me to introduce myself. I'm the user jlinfante_import. I use
this account to contribute in the Catastro import tasks and others, but my
main account is https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Jose%20Luis%20Infante .
I'm here from 2009 and not an armchair editor, as you can see at
http://hdyc.neis-one.org/?Jose%20Luis%20Infante (20% Vespucci and 22%
StreetComplete). I'm an active member of the catalan and spanish community
(we use mainly Telegram groups, as Andy Townsend knows - check Verdy_p
editions in Spain), and I habitually review the editions in Catalonia (with
OSMCha). Also I'm taking part in the spanish accessibility group. The OSM
Catalan Community has 165 members in its Telegram group.
Yes, I'm the main contributor at this project (import of pharmacies), but
only in the number of tasks. Most of them don't have any data, and I
completed them with that comment, like
https://tareas.openstreetmap.es/project/157#task/318 . Others contributors
are a teacher from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, a member of the
Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (map authority in
Catalonia),...
About this issue, I'm personally subscribe Lanxana's comments. Also, we
(the catalan community, and also the spanish community) are discussing
about this mail thread.
Maybe nobody dies if this data is not in OSM. But this is not a parody.
People here are very sensitive to this issue, and they want to contribute
adding useful data to OSM as many of them do with HOT. Maybe our users should
do nothing about.
Bye
Jose Luis
