Hi everybody,
We've done a request to the Galician government (Spain) to be able to
import data hosted at mapas.xunta.gal. That data is elaborated by a
regional territorial service: “Instituto de Estudos do Territorio”
(IET) of Xunta
de Galicia <https://www.xunta.gal>. They have accepted and signed our
request: a CC-BY permission and a OSL compatibility statement.
You can see both letters here:

Please, note that one of the documents is digitally signed. Aside of that,
I want to give many thanks to this public institution (Instituto de Estudos
do Territorio - Xunta de Galicia) for granting us such permission.
I've described the goals, types of data and the possible process of data
import here: IET Import ( https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/IET_Import ).
The intention is to debate and register any project advance here: Datos IET
Xunta de Galicia (
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Gl:WikiProject_Cesi%C3%B3n_dos_datos_da_Xunta_de_Galicia
) (in gl)
As mapas.xunta.gal host different kind of data (administrative limits,
population entities, rivers flows...) it seems it needs to be done in a
multiple state process by different people. Actually IET Import has
multiple sections. For each data set to import, we can create a new subpage.
So, please tell me if you thinks the licenses are ok and what else is
needed before starting. For example, I have to add an entry at
Import/Catalogue, no? IET's should be mentioned at Contributors' wiki: can
I already add it?
See you!
