I originally wrote the plugin because the view at the time was that
such features didn't need to be in core. I added a whole pile of
things I wanted but didn't exist in core. Now ofcourse, people are
moving them into core which solves my problem completely.

I wouldn't mind it is becomes a shell that people can add cool new
features to when they want to, but I havn't thought of any cool new
features I want recently :)
