maybe simply "Bauwerke" (or "Bauten")?

I think it would be even better to replace the "Man Made" submenu with one or more specific menu entries, for example
"industry" - man_made=works,pier,wastwater_plant,crane,pipeline,gasometer,windmill,watermill; power=*
"nautic" - man_made=lighthouse,beacon
??? - man_made=survey_point don't know a good category here or what should be combined with it (maybe "misc"/"other" = "Sonstige"?)
windmill and watermill might even fit into "tourism" or "historic places" if they are no longer used for production.
