I agree with you, but I'd like to take this question from a different approach.
I'd like to know what the goals of the OSMF are for its local chapter program,
and it might be good for the board to find out what the goals are of
the local chapters.
Once we understand what it is we're trying to accomplish, we can work together
to come up with a plan that helps achieve that goal.

Thea Clay has agreed to be on the next Local Chapter call and
represent the US's interest. If the call time is workable for me, I'll
sit in on the call too to listen in, but either way, someone from our
group is willing to make the sacrifice in order to be part of the
process.
