[OSM-newbies] GPS Tracking & how to add a roundabout

sorry for all these questions! but today I learned that OSMtracker does not work with my o2 Orbit phone.
 
I have tomtom installed and thats what I use, mainly because of its speed, I know its not the best, but its starts in seconds and just works instantly, can I track using that?
 
otherwise I know garmin allow you to download the wm program, and i've seen garmin mentioned quite a few times when relating to tracking, can I just have track positions without actually having a map loaded, I know I can run several gps utilities at the same time due to the wonderful nature of wm, so it will not affect tomtom, also, I noticed OSMtracker has the cpu constantly at 100% cpu rendering my phone somewhat useless, it does manage to connect to the builtin gps but it doesn't get a fix.
 
Otherwise are there any free alternatives
 
also, one of the junctions near me should be a roundabout, how can I change it to one?
