But what I meant, How the data of that building has been collected. In other words, did you use GPS or satellite image or what technique?????????????

This is what I understood and what I do:
 
The shopping centre area is tagged landuse=retail
Then, inside the area, the several shops are tagged as "Shop=*"
 
I remember that the problem of the shop floors, hard to solve on a flat map. The important is to know which shop are inside the area (exact position could be approximative).

Hi everyone
I am PhD at Newcastle University and I am interested in OpenStreetMap data quality assessment. I ve choosen Cramlington (North of Newcastle- UK) as a case study. In OpenStreetMap map for this place there are some building (shopping centre). Could anybody know which type of technique that has been used to collect the data of that buildings?
