[OSM-newbies] Entering data with published latitude and longitude

Hello Joe,
In JOSM editor you can go to Tools in the menu bar and select Add Node that
would open the dialog box to enter the Lat and Long of the point you would
like to add. The shortcut key for this is Shift+D.
I do not know about the Potloch editor. sorry.
