[Osmf-talk] Financing the OSMF

Here is the link to the "Associate Member Benefits" web-page at the
"Free Software Foundation" website:

At the very top of the page:

"You will receive an ultra slim, credit-card-sized, 4GB card ... The
card sports an incredibly sturdy and durable double-sided USB connector
and fits in a wallet..."

And there is the image of the card. Many more foundation membership
cards samples could be vied via search on "foundation membership card".

Perhaps it could be done as an option at the OSMF website for Associate
Members (those who pay membership fee 5 years forward, printing and
mailing fee)?

I would volunteer to mail the cards from Geneva via "Swiss Post".
Switzerland is a officially neutral country. So if a recipient in , say,
Krakozhia has got problems on receiving an envelope from abroad, the
OSMF at least did all it could from legal point of view by sending it
from politically neutral country.

I do not see too much work in it if processed in a batch. Once a month I
receive files via e-mail, go to the printing shop, get cards printed, go
to the post office and mail them.
