frankly said: I don't like forums for discussions! For me a mailing list 
is the far better way as they provide chaining of comments, read/no-read 
information, etc.

PS: i created a seperate email address for all the OSM-MLs and get the 
messages sorted by ML into seperate folders (using thunderbird) => all 
very fine to read!
