so ultimately OSMF aims at taking into account all local law from where their mappers come? 
In case of the US that's because there are agreements between the US and the EU (safe harbor etc.), but if there weren't, how would the EU be able to impose their law on areas where they don't have jurisdiction? (I'm assuming here that OSMF doesn't have official representatives/subsidiaries working/having their seat on EU ground).
