[Osmf-talk] attribution: board letter to facebook

from what I see right now, compared to some months ago, they did add a form
of attribution to their map (the same on both, the small version and also
on the bigger map to which you get by clicking on the small map), it's an
"i"-button and there is no visible textual attribution or logo referring to
OSM unless you click on it.
When attribution on small screens as an icon was discussed in 2013 based on
an initiative by mapbox [1], people had no doubt that textual attribution
on the map was the current requirement, and while there were many voices in
favor of attribution in form of an icon referring specifically to OSM, this
is not what the current facebook attribution does, it is just an anonymous

I agree OSMF should insist on a visible OpenStreetMap attribution string on
the map.
