As some additional context on this: The best example for the kind of
committee that would be affected by the potential AoA change is the
"personnel committee" idea which Mike introduced to this list last
month¹. At the moment, there are no AoA-style committees in the OSMF.

The board has, however, created some "special committees". These are a
different kind of group: They need not be chaired by, or composed of,
board members, and are created for a limited time to work through a
finite set of tasks. We currently have active special committees for
diversity and inclusion, the FOSS policy, and microgrants.
