See for example case of OSM data used in taxi app or map app powered by OSM data
and map data not requiring attribution.
Or hosting company offering premium product where they are not requiring showing their logo,
what would allow also hiding OSM attribution.
Personally, giving ability to apply "any reasonable manner", without requiring it to be clearly
visible to all users allows to de facto have no real attribution.
That will be seen only in case where someone is actively looking for it.
