If we start from a position that anybody using OSM data should be bending over backwards, willing to do summersaults and delighted to be using our data, and look at how well they prove it by showing us how eager, willing and able they are to display our attribution exactly as we say it should be, we should be OK.  And we should, because we take ourselves seriously.  Yes, our data deserve that much respect, especially by us.

But mealy-mouthed, let's make an exception...stuff, well, here be dragons.  Stand up tall about this, everybody.

There are good suggestions, there are better suggestions.  We can do this.
