[openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website] [Solved] gpx parameter in editor URL causes Application error (Issue #3540)

@gravitystorm I think we should just update the documentation at https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/blob/develop/API.md#id-on-openstreetmaporg-rails-port to reflect this difference. The doc clearly states that there ARE differences between a standalone iD and the one on openstreetmap.org/edit . Can anyone inspect the link above and confirm if ALL the params mentioned there will have the same after-#-instead-of-? thing? I'm guessing yes.
