Is it more common?  I'm pretty familiar with the term "viewpoint" ([example of use by the US National Park Service](https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/viewpoints.htm)).  "Vista" or "vista point" seem somewhat familiar, but I wouldn't say more common.
