Campers/motorhomes are practically non-existent in Japan: They do exist, but there is very little signage for them individually. Many campers are made from _very_ small vans (smaller than a minivan) so they can be parked in standard car parking.
In San Diego - motorhome/camper/toy box culture is entrenched - so there is designated parking for such vehicles in some places - but that is not a concern everywhere. We have "big vehicle" parking, and it is a catch-all for any oversize vehicle (or a truck towing a boat or a camping trailer), which lines up well with HGV values in OSM.
