As you ask so directly - the core problem is your attitude towards the community.

On 10 January 2017‎ you propose "motorcycle_friendly", but don't discuss it in the community.
On 11 January 2017‎ you declare on your wiki user page ""Hello, I'm new to OSM,"
This is correct, your main mapping activities started in 2016: http://hdyc.neis-one.org/ --> ti-lo

On 16 January 2017 you open the voting on "motorcycle_friendly".
On 17 January 2017‎ you create the feature page for "motorcycle_friendly" without even waiting for
results.

From 17-20 January you _stage_ votes! I haven't seen such thing before!

All 'yes'-voters below not only have their _only ever_ wiki contribution in this "voting", they were
_created_ for this vote. None of them has an OSM account (well, one, with 0 changesets).

Here is the evidence:

As you refer to your wikipedia activities (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User_talk:Rtfm), you
certainly knew already about _Sock Puppets_, don't you?

Even if these were real people, like your biker gang, they are not members of the OSM community,
thus not eligible for voting.

From _existing_ users, the votes were 3:1 against.

In March, your voting process was declared invalid by the community:
https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/tagging/2017-March/031403.html
You are given excuses that are technically implausible ("Voting announcement ... lost in a spam
folder") - there is no such folder, and there was no such mail in the list archive.

In the following discussion, you delete or strike opinions of users against your proposal:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Proposed_features/motorcycle_friendly&diff=next&oldid=1442529
(deleting James...)
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Proposed_features/motorcycle_friendly&diff=next&oldid=1437794
(striking Rich...)

You have been _blocked twice for mechanical edits_, trying to push recent wiki fiddling immediately
into the database:
https://www.openstreetmap.org/user_blocks/1293 (4 April)
https://www.openstreetmap.org/user_blocks/1383 (22 June)

This was in context with your undiscussed change of '_' to ':' in boat rental types
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Tag:amenity%3Dboat_rental&action=history
and your world-spanning change of those tags, see the the long list here
https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/49874036
Your edits were being discussed by the community here:
https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=58812

You are changing established tags into those proposed by yourself, worldwide.
You start edit-wars even: after a revert by the community, you re-insert them:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1457760519/history
http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/4150644186/history

You are copying from other databases, violating their terms and conditions, to populate your
motorcycle:*=* tagging scheme
https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/52600487
https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/52602764
https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/52600143

Currently you have created a proposal about shop subtags, fine.
However you spam about 25 shop=value feature pages with an entry advertising this proposal, example:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Tag%3Ashop%3Dhardware&type=revision&diff=1504194&oldid=1480193

That creates unnecessary noise.

OSM is not your personal database, you are not alone.
