You repaired it Guy, as a community we are grateful for that.
Be aware that you are free to use any tag you want, the community being
grateful if you document it on the wiki.
When you do a test, with mass automated edits you should follow the Mass
and organised editing guidelines, the community can help you then in the
opinion if it's a smart thing to do, desirable and implementation and
execution acceptable to prevent damage and insure quality.

Of course, proposing and going through the proposal process will make
your initiative evaluated and adopted by a larger mapper and user audience.

That being said, you asked me before what I would suggest, I remain with
my previous point of view, being the current denomination key is well
defined and crafted, even on the wiki. Values are provided and
described, both for less specific as very specific cases, even listing
the churches which are in full communion on the wiki. Just the use of
"catholic" as an umbrella or less specific denomination value could be
improved maybe.
Introducing any other new key or subkey is just duplication of data, is
probably not going to reduce inaccuracy in the denomination key, most
likely introduce even more biased and inconsistent situations.
The current denomination key invites to use a single value, as specific
as feasible for any mapper. Usage of that data, to f.i. receive only the
churches in full communion, is hard to capture consistently in a single
Key. Our wiki comes to the rescue here (provides links to Wikipedia).
Ultimately one could consider using the wikidata or wikipedia keys to
provide linking to more specific information and background for the
denomination value. key:wikidata can also provide a selection key for
data users and even renderers.

Greetings,

Bert Araali
