You're right.  All we have to do is change all the editors to handle
your new way of specifying the extra opening hours.  And then
change all the data consumers to handle the extra opening hours
that otherwise they may not display.

And then live with the fact that people looking at the map to find a
post office won't see it because it's in a shop.  Or maybe they won't
see the shop they're looking for because it's shown as a post office.
Or maybe we can then convince all the different cartos to display some
sort of new hybrid symbol.

I'm not convinced this is a sensible idea, even in Germany.  Why
don't you just pretend the post office counter is separate enough
to count as shop-in-shop?
