is this universally shared and an exhaustive definition of the term, or is
it just describing a sustainable variant of forestry? In other words, if
you cut down (for example) a virgin forest and only care for transporting
and managing the timber, with no reforestation of the areas, could this
form of "predatory exploitation" still be called "forestry" or would that
be stretching the term beyond the general expectations of a native English
speaker?
