At this point, most OSM-based navigation applications include
destination (and potentially destination:* subkeys) in guidance
instructions at motorway/trunk entrance and exit ramps, with the
understanding that these destinations are prominently signposted.
"Follow the signs to" instructions aren't widely implemented, as far as
I'm aware. Still, basic destination support is helpful because it helps
the user make a decision at an exit or fork in the road where at least
one of the connecting ways may be an unnamed ramp. Persisting the
destination on screen can also help reassure the user that they haven't
missed the exit.
