I'll turn this question around a bit & ask one that I raised a while back,
but didn't get a response on.
Should historic (WW1 / WW2) bunkers & similar structures be labelled as
military=bunker etc?
I'm not going back to look at the figures just now, but off the top of the
head, there are currently ~50000 military=bunkers mapped, with lots of them
located along the French & Norwegian Atlantic coasts, others in the Somme
area, & even some Civil War structures in the US - I doubt any of them are
still active!
Yes, it's obvious when you look at one that it was built as a military
bunker, which goes back to the argument that it was built as a church, so
it's still a building=church, regardless of the fact that it may now be a
private residence, a Doctor's surgery, or a nightclub!
Should military=* be reserved for current military structures / facilities
/ establishments?
Thanks
Graeme
