[Tagging] Feature proposal - Voting - Utility poles

This proposal suggests that all power=pole nodes can have two new tags
added: utility=power and man_made=utility_pole

Adding "man_made=utility_pole + utility=power" as synonym of power

would rather deprecate utility

an unnecessary  duplicate of power

It's fine to add tags which are not redundant, but in this case power
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:power>=pole
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:power%3Dpole> already clearly
indentifies the object as a power utility pole, so adding two more tags
does not give any additional information.
Are you proposing to eventually deprecate power
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:power>=pole
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:power%3Dpole> and instead use
man_made <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:man_made>=utility_pole
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:man_made%3Dutility_pole> + utility
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:utility>=power
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:utility%3Dpower>? That seems to be
the only reason to propose duplicating these tags.

I asked this on the talk page and you did not really answer my question:
obviously this proposal does not deprecate power=pole, but it seems like
that might be  your long-term goal
