[Tagging] RFC: remove alphanumeric code visible in infoboxes at OSM Wiki linking to Wikidata

I just went though this thread, the added history and most 
interestingly; the linked homepage of andy who describes[1]
him/her self as:

> Freelance Wikipedia, Wikidata and OpenStreetMap consultant 

This whole 'discussion' has grown out of proportion, and I 
hesitate to call it a discussion as only one side is producing 
arguments, the other is simply removing them from Mateusz wiki 
proposal page without claiming anything more rational than a 
disagreement.

Can a moderator perhaps step in? Lock the wiki page or something.

This looks like a conflict of interest gone wrong, and its hurting 
the OSM project. Paid people tend to "win" unfair battles like 
this, and that does not seem at all in the interest of OSM in 
this case.
