Hello,
Just to clarify: there is specific signage indicating motorways in
Australia, even outback Australia. In line with global practice, if the
road isn't up to the physical definition; it gets trunk/primary, etc.
(we also have some rural motorways that allow bicycles on the shoulder,
but regardless)
I'm not aware of an existing path that meets the cycling expressway
criteria proposed, but Europe tends to outpace Australia for cycling
infrastructure anyway. :)
