[Tagging] Species wikidata on animal attractions?

A little while back, we discussed how to map the cages / enclosures for
various animals in zoos:

I'm currently adding these details to a local wildlife park, & as per that
discussion, am using attraction=animal + name=* (eg kangaroo, crocodile) to
show what is in each enclosure.

iD has a preset for this as "Animal Enclosure" which also asks for Species
Wikidata, but when I enter the code, it immediately blanks out again?
