For HMAS Watson.
There is a clear fence at the south eastern site of the 'public path'
near the cliff edge, that goes across the path and extends from the
cliff edge for some distance, possibly to the manned car entry. It is
clearly there to stop public access. It has no rsemblce to a gate at
that point despite what is should on OSM.
I have deleted the tags of barrier=fence and "note"="was outer for
Sydnye Harbour National Park before LPI Admin Boundary data used."
and "source:geometry"="NSW LPI Imagery" on way 95481474 as the way has
been edited by a few since those tags were place on it - placing the
fence across the access road .. where there is clearly NO FENCE. It
remains as the 'boundary' for HMAS Waston.
While there is a fence line at the top of at least some of the cliff,
the same is true along most of the public parks in that area.. probably
to stop people fall over the edge.
I doubt very much that HMAS Watson allows general public access.

The 'public trail' is to the south of the present HMAS Watson.
Take a look near -33.8372424, 151.2819289, no sign of a path near the
cliff .. just a road further west.
