[OSM-talk-be] meetup in Brussels

Exact, dat stond vroeger wel steeds bij de beschrijving, en heb ik er nu
opnieuw aan toegevoegd.
Ik heb wel nog één opmerking gehad van een wat oudere Vlaming die zich ook
afgeschrikt voelt door al dat Engels. Terwijl ik hem uitlegde dat Deepl of
Google Translate gebruiken toch maar een kleine moeite is, viel mijn frank
dat automatische vertalingen ook voor MIJ gemakkelijk zijn. We willen
altijd echt goeie vertalingen maken - maar in gevallen waar dat nu ook weer
niet écht nodig is, is een automatische vertaling vaak al goed genoeg. Dus
daar ga ik in de toekomst wel aan proberen denken voor dit soort bericht.
Al ga ik dan uitdrukking als "mijn frank valt" dan misschien moeten
vermijden :)

Exactly, that did used to be in the description all the time, and I have
added it again now. I did have one comment from an older Fleming who also
feels put off by all that English. While I was explaining to him that using
Deepl or Google Translate is only a small effort, I mentioned that
automatic translations are easy for ME too. We always want to make really
good translations - but in cases where it's not really necessary, an
automatic translation is often good enough. So I'll try to think of that in
the future for this kind of message. Although I might have to avoid
expressions like "my franc is falling" :)

Exactement, cela figurait dans la description avant, et je l'ai à nouveau
ajouté. J'ai reçu un commentaire d'un Flamand plus âgé qui se sent
également rebuté par tout cet anglais. Alors que je lui expliquais que
l'utilisation de Deepl ou de Google Translate ne représente qu'un petit
effort, j'ai mentionné que les traductions automatiques sont faciles pour
moi aussi. Nous voulons toujours faire de très bonnes traductions, mais
dans les cas où cela n'est pas vraiment nécessaire, une traduction
automatique est souvent suffisante. J'essaierai donc d'y penser à l'avenir
pour ce genre de message. Bien que je doive éviter des expressions comme
"mon franc baisse" :)
