Hey, try driving every one of those highways to get GPS tracks of
them, and then add in all the rural road grid as well...  There's a
reason why I would really like to see the GeoBase data model
incorporated into the OSM project!

I keep having to add more waypoints to all these chunky roads that
some Jason Reid guy laid down all over Alberta! 8) Gotta get them all
nice a swoopy on the corners, instead of single point corners.

It takes a lot of time and fuel to gather data! I'd rather use the
money that I've given the government rather than spend more.

Oh well, next week I'll be tracking the highway up through Slave Lake,
right up to the NWT border on the Liard highway, and then tracking
back down highway 43 on the way home. 1200 km one way, so there'll be
some new highway added into NE BC for sure, as well as some accurate
road alignments in Northern Alberta. Gotta love it when the boss pays
the fuel bills!
