hi,
Im just looking at the Saskatchewan data
http://gisweb1.serm.gov.sk.ca/DesignatedAreasProject/DA_distribution/data_distribution.asp
And it appears that this 1 dataset is available.
(the rest of it, it looks like is available for purchase from ISC
http://www.isc.ca/MapsandPhotos/Maps/Pages/default.aspx
I would think that the NRCan data already contains all of this protected
area data,
but i just wanted to check here, as this data might be more detailed that
whats available from NRCan?
I downloaded the Parks file, and it looks like the data is from nov 20th
2006 to march 24th 2007. It shows all the recreation sites & provincial
parks & Historic sites. .. and the names of each also.
Also, it looks like there is WMS service available for this dataset.
Im not sure what the exact url is to make it possible to view in JOSM, but
that would be a nice resource to have. For those local to Saskatchewan and
those interested in mapping the area.
Cheers,
Sam
